Recordings CD 2014 Product Description 2014 marks the 30th Anniversary of Johnny Hooper's first solo recordings 'Reeds In The Garden' (1984) and the subsequent 'Street People' (1985), which were music cassettes produced during the period when he was first a street performer in London's Covent Garden. They sold like hot cakes! These two albums have never before been available on compact disc and so 'Early Recordings' (2014) is a double-feature CD presenting both of these early cassettes all on one disc. This album includes 4 original compositions by Johnny Hooper and also a bonus track, 'Summertime', recorded in London in 1987 by the very popular Love Brothers, featuring Johnny on the alto saxophone. |
